Metro Flower Market came to us with no online presence. They had a website for their flower business, but wanted to separate their overall flower shop with their Do-It-Yourself (DIY) services. Since their domain was brand new, we knew that we would be challenged by the lack of indexing from Google. To add to that, their current database of products were incomplete and disorganized for DIY options.
We needed to build an eCommerce site allowing for, sales, delivery or pickup, date picker enabled and payment gateways along with SSL/TSL allowing secure access for customers/user accounts, logins, custom dashboards, etc.
During our meeting and discovery, we understood that the products/database would need to integrate with their in-store database and sales. SteerPoint was asked to build a system for these connection. For this, we would need to team up with Metro Flower Market's POS developers and in order to complete connections, tested and running.
Metro Flower Market also required a membership area for users who met specific criteria. This meant the need to customize the site even further.
